Wang et al. constructed a triangular DNA nanocage (ssRNA-TNP) loaded with single-stranded mTOR-siRNA to inhibit mTOR. This system can improve the stability of siRNA, efficiently transfect NCI-H292 cells, and can effectively inhibit the expression of mTOR. It is expected to become a non-viral gene delivery system.
