Lipid Nanoparticles
Introduction to Lipid Nanoparticles
Lipid nanoparticle (LNP) is an advanced non-viral gene delivery system and the first nano-drug delivery platform to successfully proceed from concept to clinical application. They can safely and efficiently deliver nucleic acids, overcoming a major hurdle hindering the development and use of nucleic acid-based drugs.
Liposomes consist of one or more lipid bilayers and range in size from 20 to 1000 nm. Hydrophilic drugs can be enclosed in the aqueous interior of liposomes, while hydrophobic drugs can be entrapped in the hydrocarbon chain regions of the lipid bilayer. Currently, several drug formulations have been developed using lipid nanoparticle platforms, such as the anti-tumor drug and the hepatitis vaccine.

Service Details
At Creative BioMart Nanocage, we develop advanced lipid nanoparticle delivery systems. We have developed the lipid nanoparticles production technology route of the whole process. Including:
- Liposome preparation: Our researchers engineered and synthesized a large number of different types of new lipids, and conducted a comprehensive evaluation of the payload, potency, and safety of these LNPs for nucleic acid delivery.
- Standard quality monitoring: We provide a comprehensive service including the design, synthesis, and characterization of lipid nanoparticles, as well as preclinical testing and regulatory support.
- Characteristic analysis and optimization:The characteristics of LNP, such as size, shape, surface charge and encapsulation efficiency, need to be analyzed in the preparation process, and adjusted according to needs. For example, adjusting preparation parameters can change the encapsulation rate and release curve of the drug.
